Glucose Intolerance (preg.)

Why use for glucose intolerance

Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) are seven times more at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes than women that have a normal glycaemic pregnancy. Probiotics effects on glucose intolerance have shown positive results in pregnant mice. The immune regulatory properties in probiotics have been found to work effectively to control glucose metabolism. Lactobacillus rhamnosus is one the most effective strains of probiotics that have a proven record of safety for pregnant women.

In general, Lactobacillus rhamnosus is noted to be a most effective probiotic for many diseases and ailments.

APD I Probiotic Supplement

A high-potency formulation of eight hardy species of proprietary blend containing —5+ Billion CFU’s selected for maintenance on a daily ongoing basis after using the kit to alleviate your skin fungus problems. This selection is effective for skin problems of the feet as well as (candida) yeast infections and soothing urinary tract infections.

The formulas include Bifidobacterium lactis, which is a very important colonizing microorganism that produces significant amounts of anti-microbial formate. Also included in this unique probiotic blend is Lactobacillus rahmnosus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, both of which enhance the immune system and support gut microflora during antibiotic therapy. They both suppress the pathogens of potential E. coli and C. difficile, both of which are dangerous toxins. The formulation in this blend has profound effects on the immune system of the body, including the enhancement of white cell, tumor, cell-killing and phagocytic activities.

The probiotic species in the “APD I ” formulations synergistically produce additional probiotic microorganisms that lower the pH of intestinal contents and inhibit the growth of viral pathogens and bacterial yeast. The “APDI” probiotics produce B vitamins that help enhance the absorption of minerals and nutrients in the body.

The above-mentioned three highly potent strains of probiotics plus the five additional hardy species in our “APDI” formulations stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and the systemic immune system to function in a healthful and reenergized, pathogen free environment. At the same time, these formulations provide support for people suffering from fungal skin of the feet and yeast infections (candida).

Bifidobacterium Lactis:

Scientific studies have proven this probiotic enhances your immune system including increasing immunity among the elderly, resisting middle ear inflammation, lowering respiratory diseases reducing colds and flu, curtailing allergies, increasing blood glucose control, improving digestion, lowering cholesterol, and fighting tumors. It is especially effective in improving the skin from attacking fungus.

Lactobacillus Rahmnosus:

Known to eliminate and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the intestines, this probiotic stimulates the production of antibodies and assists your body to combat invasive bacteria, it also has a high tolerance for the strong acids found in the digestive system, allowing maximum strength for warding off disease and infection.

Bifidobacterium Bifidum:

This is the most ferocious good bacteria, known to produce organic compounds including lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid that halt reproduction of dangerous bacteria. Yeast (candida) is crowded out when hydrogen peroxide and aecetic acid are present. It synthesizes B-complex vitamins & absorbs calcium. Another study suggests it helps prevent eczema. More recent research says it controls diseases caused by allergic reactions.

Streptococcus Thermophilus:

It is a transient species with a long history of use as a starter culture for yogurt and cheese. It is used for fermentation end-products that inhibit pathogenic bacterial proliferation. It reduces DNA damage and premalignant lesion formation by protecting against carcinogens. It supports normal microflora and helps the gastrointestinal function in conditions ranging from rotavirus diarrhea in infants to remission in ulcerative colitis.

Bifidobacterium Longum:

B. longum – biovar longum (referred to as B. longum) has been found to be able to eliminate nitrates form the intestinal tract. B. longum ferments a broad spectrum of oligosaccharides. It is resistant to high bile and salt concentrations. It inhibits human neutrophil elastase which may be important to innate immunity and attenuate harmful intestinal inflammation. Inhibits Enterotoxigenic E.Coli. It favorably modulates inflammatory cytokine response to respiratory antigens. It improves inflammation in ulcerative colitis.

Lactobacillus Plantarum:

L. plantarum helps produce lactolin, a natural antibiotic, and synthesizes L. lysine. L. plantarum is a highly beneficial transient bacteria generally lacking in people consuming a standard Western diet while universally present in people consuming traditional plant-based diets. Supports intestinal barrier function. Reduces translocation of gut bacteria. Antagonizes C. difficile. Supports normal microflora in people with irritable bowel syndrome. Plantarum was many years ago, a major part of people’s diet (found in sauerkraut etc.)

Lactobacillus Casei:

L. casei has been found to have protective activity against pathogenic listeria bacteria. Lactobacillus casei beneficially modulates innate immune responses. Increases the number of intestinal IgA-producing cells. Antagonizes Helicobacter pylori. Decreases cytokine secretion. Inhibits E. coli adherence to intestinal cells. Decreases Shigella-mediated inflammation.

Lactobacillus Paracasei:

Super-High acid tolerance. Ferments inulin and phleins and produces high levels of lactic acid. Antagonizes C. difficile and staphylococcus aureus as well as other pathogens. Contributes to a healthy vaginal microflora.
